#IMM2022 KICK-OFF

As starting point to the 7th round, Industry Meets Makers are organising our next kick-off event on Wednesday, April 27th, 2022 at 4 pm (CET), at which industry and technology partners are invited to present their current future tech challenges (so called “briefings”) and technology support services in the form of short pitches.

Anyone who is interested in the new challenge topics, possibly already has initial ideas for solutions and/or would like to network and exchange ideas with the partners, is cordially invited to come along.

On the topic agenda is the search for:

• smart, secure and sustainable IoT solutions
• innovative applications for loading and unloading transport vehicles with the help of AI and sensor technology
• creative add-on functions for kitchen appliances and a digital food management system
• new use cases for existing water desalination and liquid extraction technologies as well as forward-looking proof-of-concepts in the field of decentralised green hydrogen supply

Hybrid, Bilingual, Free

IMM will organise the event in a hybrid format. Thanks to the support of the Vienna Business Agency, the central moderation can take place from the Technology Centre in aspern Seestadt and be streamed live via Zoom from there.

The presenters speak in German and English. German contributions are translated live into English by a synchronous interpreter via Zoom. This means that international guests can also follow the pitches online.

As with all of the IMM events, participation is free of charge for everyone. However, for planning reasons, IMM asks for pre-registration via the registration form – especially in case of an on-site visit due to snack planning, safety regulations, etc.
