Warum braucht es Data Excellence Professionals?
Data Excellence (DX) geht über die Grenzen des klassischen Verständnisses von Data Governance hinaus und bedeutet, sämtliche erforderlichen Maßnahmen zu setzen, um den Wert der Daten nachhaltig zu maximieren. Der Umgang mit Daten im Unternehmen erfordert unterschiedliche Fähigkeiten und fundiertes Wissen. Damit Menschen mit unterschiedlichen Aufgaben im Datenmanagement effizient zusammenarbeiten können, ist ein gemeinsames Verständnis der Begrifflichkeiten, Methoden und des Vorgehens nötig. Data Excellence bildet den fundierten fachlichen Rahmen, in dem die Daten verstanden und verwendet werden können.
Wer kann sich als Certified Data Excellence Professional (CDXP) zertifizieren lassen?
Die Zertifizierung richtet sich an Mitarbeitende im Bereich Datenmanagement und all jene, die Data Governance betreiben. Auch Expert*innen aus den verschiedenen Fachbereichen in Organisationen können damit vorweisen, dass sie die notwendigen Grundlagen für einen exzellenten Umgang mit Daten im gesamten Lebenszyklus erwirtschaftet haben.
Personen aus allen Fachbereichen eines Unternehmens, die explizite Aufgaben rund um Daten übernehmen, Daten durch ihre tägliche Arbeit produzieren sowie jene, die Daten nutzen, um daraus Informationen abzuleiten, die als Entscheidungsgrundlage fungieren, wird ein Training bei von der ADV ausgesuchten Schulungsanbieter*innen empfohlen.

Wer steht hinter der CDXP-Zertifizierung?
Data Excellence-Expert*innen aus dem ADV-Umfeld haben Lehrplan und Prüfung zu CDXP – Foundation Level (FL) konzipiert und verfasst. Dieses Gremium ist hierbei verantwortlich für die Definition des Standards. Unterschiedliche Schulungsanbieter vermitteln das Wissen unter Einbeziehung des Lehrplans. Zur Sicherung der Qualitätsstandards wird die Zertifizierung von unabhängigen Prüfungsinstituten vorgenommen.
Die Zertifizierung erfolgt bei Certible, einer unabhängige internationale Zertifizierungsstelle. Erstmals besteht die Möglichkeit am 2. Tag (29.04.) der 5. Österreichischen Data Governance Konferenz mit reduzierter Prüfungsgebühr.
