Publikation aus dem IEDS-Forschungsprojekt
Die enormen Innovationspotenziale, die Daten Unternehmen sowie der Wissenschaft bieten, werden in Deutschland überwiegend noch nicht genutzt. Häufig sind dabei die Potenziale sowie der Nutzen der jeweiligen Daten nicht bekannt. Vor allem Unternehmen haben große Bedenken was rechtliche Fragestellungen und Datensicherheit betrifft. Es fehlt an einer Betrachtung von Ökosystemen – speziell im Hinblick auf die Entwicklung datengetriebener Geschäftsmodelle.
Das Engagement von mittlerweile über 300 Unternehmen innerhalb der Gaia-X-Initiative zeigt die zunehmende Bedeutung von Daten für die Wertschöpfung, des strategischen Umgangs mit Daten und der dafür notwendigen Infrastrukturen.
Analyse des Themas Data Sharing aus verschiedenen Perspektiven
Das IEDS-Forschungsprojekt beschäftig sich mit Anreizen und Grundlagen für den Datenaustausch. Ziel des Projektes »Incentives and Economics of Data Sharing – IEDS« ist es durch eine interdisziplinäre Verbundforschung die Ausgestaltung von Anreizsystemen für das Teilen von Daten im unternehmerischen Kontext zu untersuchen. Dazu wird das Thema Data Sharing aus unterschiedlichen Perspektiven, wie technischen und ökonomischen, analysiert. Konkret sollen Erkenntnisse gesammelt und Mechanismen entwickelt werden, wie Anreize für Organisationen gesetzt werden können, um an offenen und kollaborativen Datennetzwerken teilzunehmen.
Das IEDS-Whitepaper ist die erste gemeinsame Veröffentlichung der Konsortialpartner. In diesem Paper finden Sie erste Ergebnisse des Projekts und Ausblicke in die weitere Forschung rund um Data Sharing und Data Economy.
